[chbot] Is there an Iphone/ios genius out there

Just been trying to put some pictures onto my iphone from my Linux PC and
although I can put them in any folder (DCIM/apple100; Photos; Downloads)
and can read them back OK, I can't get the Iphone to see them to display.

Using ifuse which connects/mounts etc OK but presumably there is an index
of files somewhere in IOS that needs to be updated so they can be referenced

Anyone any ideas?
Iphone XR (10R) running 18.1.1 IOS
