Some clarifying questions...
? China or Taiwan ?
? I guess there are no markings at all on the chip?
? Which pin is SDA and which SCL ?
? You're assuming it is reprogrammable (i.e. flash based) ?
? Likely to have EEPROM ?
? Has UART ?
