I have items "left country of origin" in March/April/May which haven't
showed up yet. The tracking isn't supposed to track after leaving China.
I don't believe they're rotting in Auckland, although there is a large
place there that relabels items for resending in NZ they surely must
have caught up by now. My guess is they got "tracked" out of the country
in some warehouse in China while being piled into a container, and the
container is collecting dust somewhere on the carpark of the warehouse
due to lack of transport capacity or whatever.

Mind you, I know of 2 items that were ordered late January turn up in
early July (160 + 162 days), with return addresses in Zambia(!). Perhaps
they found an inventive shipping path, or perhaps they got missent
(happens often with aliexpress) to Zambia and someone stickered them on.
Who knows.
