Option 1

Once you think you're ready, generate a couple of exam papers and see how you get on, if you pass at home then you’ll be ready to do the real thing.

To arrange an exam time (most Tuesday nights are ideal, 7:30pm)

 

Option 2 

Attend the Hamcram weekend course (Next Course 13th & 14th June 2020) where tutors take you through what is required to pass the exam.

Sunday afternoon you sit the exam.  (Extra $30 for printed copy of the study guide, morning & afternoon tea etc)

 

Fees:-  

Exam sitting fee                $20

Callsign registration         $95, this includes NZART membership and club membership for one year.

$115 Total

 

Any further questions just call or email me, or pop in tonight, Club monthly formal meeting 7:30pm onward, or any Tuesday from 7:30pm (informal more relaxed style).

I am interested in gaining an amateur radio licence. I had a look online to see what was involved. Perhaps at some point I could puck your (or Bruces’s) brain to learn a little more about what is involved. What I need to learn / cost / exams?
