Hi Charles

The cheapest option is to purchase a Sonoff these are basically an ESP8266 with PSU and relay and 1 exposed IO input

Sonoff with 433Mhz remote

Hacking the Sonoff bridge

PIR lights could feed the input of this via a 230V relay….

Mike

Subject: [chbot] Wifi security lights

Hello All

Having a had a few scumbags visit us the last few months, I'm thinking of putting in some security lights.

I was wondering if there are some Wifi security lights available that can:

* be controlled via Wifi

* communicate with each other so that if one senses something it can tell the others to turn on.

A cursory goggling shows up nothing in Christchurch.

Thoughts?

Thanks
