That's a great news!

The main difference (AFAIK) is that LoRaWAN operates in unlicensed spectrum
(868/915MHz) whereas NB-IoT is for licensed bands.

If there'd be an interest from the group I can bring over few LoRaWAN
"things" that I've built for the next meeting.
