The even bigger advantage is that it is exactly as accurate as the power
company is billing you for!!

Very cool. Tech details...??? Probably wouldn't help me much though, I
have an arc invovation piece of junk that the power company had to send
some joker out for to connect a display unit to, just so I could read
the day and night consumption... Hmm, might be a UART connection. I
should hook into that and see if the data format is obvious (not holding
my breath).
