[chbot] USB2 vs USB3 ports

My wife bought an MP3 player from The Warehouse about a year ago, and
our laptop doesn't recognise that there's anything plugged in when
it's attached to the USB3 ports, but works just fine on the USB2 port.
The cable is fine, since it's a regular micro-USB which we use happily
for other devices on the USB3 ports without issue, and the same cable
works with USB2 and this device. Maybe there's something in the device
which refuses to talk anything newer than USB2. I'd link to it, but
looks like they're not selling anymore.
