Well not in my house. I made my own heat pump control system years ago,
it was relatively easy and just works. Warm house in the morning after
cold nights. Always meant to bring it in, but lack of (usable) Internet
has so far been in the way.

You mean like Nest (I think it was)? They end up in the google cloud,
and all your historic private data with it (with whatever excuse).

I bet it's a European design. You can't get such a thing from North
America. I have plans for my own.
