An alternate option: Keep all of the email in a folder in your mail 
client. :-)

Over ~ 5k emails in the folder, right back to what must be nearly #1, 
from 21:09 on the 19th of August 2003.

The site: search proposed by the other two (more sensible) gentlemen is 
a better idea though. ;-)
