Hi All
Basically you can series/parallel these cells all you like.
The voltage on every series cell must be monitored during both charge and
discharge.
ALWAYS use a battery protection circuit.
DO NOT rely on the battery protection circuit to detect end of charge.

Trying to code my way out of a pit full of alligators just now otherwise I
would write considerably more.
