I found on at car shop. I need to be able to adjust a screw incrementally 
both CW and CCW in a smooth action. The one I have is a screwdriver with a 
bevel gear at the end.

SDI-SI would have been my next best step.

A bit of info, this chip produces 5 volts from the mains supply. About $2 
each so you can run your micro from mains without a transformer.
