[chbot] Building a Sea Pearch ROV

Hi all,

As part of a sciencey thing for two of my kids who are homeschooled  
(and also because I think it would be cool) I'm looking at building a  
remotely operated underwater vehicle. I've settled on the Sea Perch as  
there's heaps of documentation out there and it's small size and  
simple construction makes building and testing accessable to a 6 and 7  
year old.

What I'm planning on doing is building the basic unit then testing it  
in the bath, then a neighbours pool. From there we'll look at playing  
around with it, eg: making a hydrophone, adding a depth gauge and  
compass, lights and a video camera or whatever else comes to mind.
