[chbot] Making 3D printers more affordable

Hi Peter,
Thanks for the feedback! This will be my entry into 3d printers and I
hope it'll turn out alright. I'm hoping to make toys for my kids,
prototypes for my educational robots, mill some pcb's and help me
inspire kids on my science fridays at school. I doubt I'll use it for
heavy duty milling.

I was drawn to the sumpod by it's solid, heavy mdf construction. I
also like its linear recirculating ball bearings. I have a feeling
that to print anything usable you must have weight and good bearings.
I'm a bit skeptical of the Printrbot, it looks much too flimsy.

I like that the SumPod draws upon the experience from the RepRap
community, and at least from what I've seen the designer frequently
credits the community. I'm not religious about being able to print my
own printer or even experimenting with the printer. I want to use the
printer for my hobbies and business.

I'll definitively bring it to a meeting once I have it!
Hanno
