On the make it vs make a machine to make it concept:
The CNCZone forums are frequented by two distinctly different types of
hobbyists.
Those who wish to make CNC machines, and those who wish to use CNC machines.
The former may sometimes migrate to the latter, but rarely will the
latter regress.
This is the reason I use PCBzone to make the few boards I do these days.
This is also the reason I'll not be building another complete DIY CNC
job. I'm gonna throw a few $k at the problem and skip to the end
result. Also, from observation of other peoples projects, and doing my
own costing of a decent spec setup; there is little money saved, and I
don't really want to learn anything more than I did first time around!
