Robotics Holiday Workshop

Come and join us to explore the wonderful world of robotics. Learn to 
build a robot and program it to do challenging tasks. Robotics is an 
important growing technology for the future and a topic everyone should 
know about.

The critical knowledge and skills that the student will develop are.

1.    Understanding the basics and background of robotics.
2.    Learning to construct and program a robot using the Robo-Stamp 
robotic kit.
3.    Using collision, distance and line sensors in a rescue challenge 
environment.
4.    Learning to collaborate in a team environment through taking on 
specific roles important for team success.
5.    Having fun!

_When:_     6 July from 9:00 to 16:00 and 7 July from 9:00 to 13:00. 
Booking essential before 3 July 2009 
_Place:_      Reformed Church hall, 90 Highsted Rd, Bishopdale.
_Cost:_       $95.00 per child (Special family rates for more than one 
child available)
