Come and join us to explore the wonderful world of robotics. Learn to
build a robot and program it to do challenging tasks. Robotics is an
important growing technology for the future and a topic everyone should
know about. <br>
<br>
The critical knowledge and skills that the student will develop are.<br>
<br>
1. Understanding the basics and background of robotics.<br>
2. Learning to construct and program a robot using the Robo-Stamp
robotic kit.<br>
3. Using collision, distance and line sensors in a rescue challenge
environment.<br>
4. Learning to collaborate in a team environment through taking on
specific roles important for team success.<br>
5. Having fun!<br>

<u>When:</u> 6 July from 9:00 to 16:00 and 7 July from 9:00 to
13:00. Booking essential before 3 July 2009 <br>
<u>Place:</u> Reformed Church hall, 90 Highsted Rd, Bishopdale.<br>
<u>Cost:</u> $95.00 per child (Special family rates for more than
one child available) <br>
