[chbot] Parallax Prop Plug

Hello,
I'm looking for some help on a small problem, i've got a Propeller 
Prop Plug from Parallax, modded to enable programming with a 
BasicX24, but i'm beginning to work with the Arduino boards.
The board I have doesn't natively support USB and requires a USB to 
TTL converter, rather than me buying another converter, would anyone 
know if a modded Prop Plug will work alright with it?

The board I have is a Sanguino.
The mod in question involved removing a capacitor and putting in a 
150R resistor
