Yes.

I've said "sod it" and registered kite101.com

There is an empty website there, ready to accept any HTML
that folk might care to write.

It'll take a few days for the DNS to settle down - the secondary
nameservers are requested, but not in place yet, and the
new domain won't make it round all the root namesservers for a
couple of days.

Once that's settled, I'll set up a mail address to send content
to (in the meantime, just send stuff to me).
