Yes and no.  Dreamweaver supports "third-party tags" and can be configured
not to clobber your TT code, but you won't be able to properly visualize
TT-generated HTML within the editor.  I set this up for our web developers a
while back and it has saved me a lot of headaches.  In your C:\Program
Files\Macromedia\Dreamweaver #\Configuration\ThirdPartyTags directory:

1. Create a file named TT.xml with the following contents:

<tagspec tag_name="tt" start_string="[%" end_string="%]"
detect_in_attribute="true" icon="TT.gif" icon_width="16"
icon_height="16"></tagspec>

2. Copy the attached GIF file to the same directory (or make your own if you
don't like mine)

3. Restart Dreamweaver

Has anyone got any experience with working with designers who use
dreamweaver?

Is it possible to get to the stage where dreamweaver users can edit
simple template toolkit templates without breaking everything.

I suppose the first stage would be using the 'html' TAG_STYLE, to fool
dreamweaver into ignoring them as comments...  But any hindsight woudl
be much appreciated.
