Maori Television and Te Reo have moved to a new fifth mux on 610000 Hz
and are now broadcast in HD. The old SD channels are still being
broadcast for a while to allow people to change over, but will stop at
some point. They have lost their channel names and will no longer
show up in a scan for named channels. Here is a scan I did shortly
after the change a few days ago:

In the process, it seems that the name of Maori Television has had the
macron on the a added to it, as I was not getting a match with the
name in my mhegepgsnoop.py channel map file until I added the macron,
and that was causing the data not to be matched to the xmltvid. When
I let mhegepgsnoop.py do automatic matching of channel names, it
correctly matched the new Maori Television name to the xmltvid it
found in the MythTV database. Unfortunately, it does not match the
new TVNZ names to my old names for them, so I do need to use a channel
map file still.

Since it is not possible to send the correct UTF-8 macron-a character
in an email, I have put a copy of my new channel map file on my web
server so that it can be downloaded. Then the name can be cut and
pasted correctly into your own channel map file using a UTF-8 capable
editor (such as nano):
