An easy fix might be to install a new recording drive in the backend
(faster connections are best), suitably formatted (ext4 has been fine
for me, others have alternative preferences debated on list meaning
other formats may be preferable), and simply copy the recordings (and
any other directories) from the remote drive to the new drive. Some
reconfiguration of drive addressing (backend configuration) would also
be necessary. Myth may well sort it out on its own from there. Good time
to also upgrade to a 2TB or 3TB drive?
What is the backend motherboard?
