Actually, I'd put this in as a positive aspect of Arch Linux...it's a
rolling release, so your mythtv is always up to date. There are some
nice fixes and improvements in 0.27 over 0.25 - I have no major bugs
or annoyances with it now. With Mythbuntu 12.04 you're going to get an
older version of mythtv (0.25, I think), unless you manually update it
(or add backports).
