/home/mythtv/.mythtv/Pinnicle.xmltv  does not exist in that directory. 
I have one the user's directory I was logging in as.

I have moved it into ~mythtv/.mythtv area and put a link to it from the 
other account's .mythtv

We'll see if that fixes it.

Still does not explain why it would not run as a chron job.

How can I tell if a user has an encrypted /home directory?  That would 
prevent jobs running when they are not logged in (I have observed that 
on other machines)
