It would be interesting to see what the "Unknown xmltv channel
identifier" is. Whatever it is, vpn "doesn't seem" to like it.

I'm guessing the "Unknown xmltv channel identifier" is seen by vpn as
EOF ?

Of course, it could be a red herring. :(
