Sorry, I should clarify: yes, the "NXP7164-2010-03-10.1.fw" firmware
file is loading (and always has done, except when I deliberately
re-compiled the kernel driver to try to load another of Steven Toth's
HVR22xx firmwares).
What isn't shown as loading (but which appears to have resolved the
pixellation if this morning is any guide) is the additional firmware
for the RF demodulator part of the HVR-22xx card that John McKnight
mentioned in his email i.e. firmware file "dvb-fe-tda10048-1.0.fw".
