[mythtvnz] Transcoding Issues anyone

I was wondering if anyone in NZ had been having transcoding issues of 
recent times.

I have been running an increasingly ancient Myth System (Mythbuntu 9.04 
MythTV 0.21) successfully for a number of years using DVB-T signals.
Because of my ancient front-end (IBM T23 laptop and Sony CRT TV) I have 
had to transcode everything I record before watching it.  In the early 
days I spent a long time creating a Userjob to do the transcode for me 
and all was well for several years.

About 1st Sept this year programs that come from the TVNZ or MediaWorks 
Muxes have tended to fail the transcode step.  The job runs fine but the 
output is un-watchable ... even unplayable on my system.

I am thinking that something funny has happened to the stream and 
container timestamps that are broadcast.

Not looking for solutions yet as I have a project in hand to use an Ion 
based box and I think the priority has just been ramped on that but I 
thought a few of you that might be experimenting with streaming to iPads 
or using the Android front-end stuff might have seen anything similar.
