I don't want to drag this thread into a debate about XFS vs JFS vs
EXT3/4 vs BTRFS, but I have read some concerns about JFS (moreso than
XFS) with sudden power outage (ref: http://lwn.net/Articles/476263/).
I'll stick with XFS for a few days and hold off the UPS for now - but
really wish I could rid myself of this intermittent but regular
pixellation!
