You are advised to read the release notes before using any mythtv
version.

Smooth sync was implemented over 5 commits.
Myth 0.25 has the worst sensitivity to frame rate/refresh rate mismatch
of any media player I have used.
I have no problem modifying/compiling from source..
The patch file format is a means to document/disseminate.
I was apologising pre-emptively for not providing one.
The last of the Philips Matchline CRTS are very reliable.
With custom modelines & tweaking of geometry in the TV service menu, the
result is acceptable.
The old widescreen CRT works best at 720p60 or 1080i60..there is an
internal mode of 1250i50 but I haven't got that to work via VGA input.
It is burglar proof/breaking.
