A somewhat belated report back. I bought a GT520 fanless card for $80 -
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=531670969 and put it in a
$50 HP SFF DC7100 box -
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=530648092. Installed
mythbuntu 12.04 and updated, added XBMC and plugged into HDMI port of TV.
All works fine. Like my ASUS Bravo GT220 the heatsink is massive. It seems
to perform fine. The box card combination probably chews far more power
than my revos do, but it is in the bedroom of a teenage child who only
visits a couple of days a week. Once I teach him how to turn his light off
when going back to his mother's, I'll start working on getting him to turn
the frontend off.
Oh and once again I am using the brilliant sapphire remote, another $20
odd. $150.00 - cheap frontend really.
