Hi Steve
I've got something similar going on but a bit different from you. I
noticed that after upgrading to 0.24.1 (via debian-multimedia.org), Live
TV on my combined FE/BE would go into an endless cycle of signal lock then
tuning - didn't matter which channel I tried to tune to. If I bring up
the playback menu and then escape out of it, it will stay locked the
channel but if I try to change channels it goes back into the loop.
However I can record shows off any channel via a scheduled recording, and
since I don't use Live TV much I've not bothered to try and isolate the
problem. The other odd thing is that I can watch LiveTV and change
channels from a remote frontend no problem.
I did a bit of digging on the Dev mailing list and there are a couple of
issues (supposedly fixed) related to thread deadlocks in the backend that
give similar symptoms to mine.
Don't know if this helps at all sorry.
Dave
