But it does have a BCM70015 in it (as far as I can tell from the specs)
which will do all the video decoding in hardware which is supported under
linux. 

I made a similar box up a while ago
http://www.geekzone.co.nz/LennonNZ/7131 with crystalHD card (BCM70012 -
very similar) and it was fast enough to run xbmc or mythtv well.
