[mythtvnz] new to list

Hi:

 

I am new to Linux, so please bear with me if I post some mundane
questions. I have used Microsoft MCE since 2005 and currently have Vista
Home Premium as the Media Centre.

 

Recently downloaded Mythtv, 10.04  have had some limited success with
the capture cards.

Configuration

 

Motherboard Asus P5K-E

Graphics Card Nvidia 8600 GT

Capture Cards Hauppage 150 for Analogue signal

Hauppauge HVR 4000 quad tuner for free to air satellite reception

 

My issues are:

 

 whilst I can configure the 150 tuner 1 signal the system does not
recognise the composite inputs

the HVR 4000 I have attempted to configure the DVB-s input, to receive
from a 900mm dish.

I have a Free to Air decoder and have no problem tuning into the
satellite but when I attempt to tune the  HVR 4000 it does not detect
any signals.

Settings are:

 

HVR set to DVB-s

Video input : Free to Air

 

Transponder 12483000, 22500000

Polarity Horizontal

 

 

 

LNB set to 

Ross
