[mythtvnz] VLC and VDPAU

Don't think it's VDPAU directly..this would make it nVidia only with
only low level driver.
The idea is to use VA-API layer so this could work with more hardware.
Also allows others apps to use GPU processing without building in direct
low level drivers.
Disclaimer: This could be wrong.
Where does fit with openCL, CUDA & openGL & ATI's firestarter ??
Have read (& not understood much) on mplayer & VLC forums etc..
that OpenCL is not intended, so much for real time video, but to be an
API layer on CUDA (& the ATI version).
This could also be wrong...
If ffmpeg sorted out the GPU processing for transcoding this would be a
truly enormous step forward for all the other apps that use it.
Maybe the transcoding & real-time video decoding could be dealt with in
different ways on the GPU.
Very big undertaking & of course it all has to be written in C..
