They seem as simple as anything to setup, simpler than the IR devices that connect to the Tuner cards

The four "My" buttons at the top are only on this one, however the black one has five buttons at the bottom....
While this black image is not so defined, the missing text is not present as it is on the older grey version.

Functionally they seem much the same otherwise.
The new Black remote IR device is smaller (and newer) than the older grey one.
They both work with the same driver setup.  Most functions seem the same, I've not done a key for key test though.  It seems as much 
an aesthetic decision as anything.
