[mythtvnz] Anyone else using a HDHomerun/Mythtv/XBMC combo?

My HDHomerun/Mythtv/XBMC has been working great until recently and I am in
the process of tracking down which bit is now giving me grief. I am finding
that some NZ Freeview recordings are causing XBMC to crash or to get
reported as only a few minutes long (which causes problems when trying to
skip ads, XBMC just takes you back to the beginning). The same NZ Freeview
recordings playback fine under VLC running on my Mac Mini.

The system had been quite reliable but of course I couldn't resist making
updates so I am now on the latest of .22 (with fixes including my own for
issue 7624) of Myth backend using the latest XBMC 9.11 on top of Ubuntu 9.10
(64bit) and Nvidia drivers 190.53, tracking down which change might be the
cause is going to be the challange. I have also tried using the Mythtv
Frontend as an alternative but so far have not been able to get audio to
work on my Zotac ION board (under XBMC it works fine).

Just wondering if anyone else is using a similar combination and is having
trouble free NZ Freeview playback.
