[mythtvnz] Anyone got IR sensor to work on HDHomerun?

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone had gotten the IR sensor to work on their
HDHomerun unit?  Apparently you can forward the IR signals over the
network.  I've tried a few solutions from the web but had no success.
