I don't see why the version using drivers 185 would be more "robust"
than the one using 180.

And I'm still waiting for your backtraces !

I've informed Mark Kendall and he has confirmed the problem.
The issue occurs in mythtv svn-trunk as well.

First thought was that it's due to the older ffmpeg code ; but it
doesn't seem to be the case...
