I'm curious though. I added the --update argument in the arguments field

You can see what the extra arguments mean by typing:

mythfilldatabase --help | less

at the command prompt.  I should probably use the --update argument.

I think the problems I was having getting this working related to having update times set for early morning and then not having the system running so I wen't overkill.  If you are going to have your system running in those hours consistently then you shouldn't have a problem.
