I've been discussing the buffer size issues Jean-Yves has been
investigating with some of the freeview techs they passed me the following
article as a reference.
http://broadcastengineering.com/test_measurement/managing-lip-sync/
Does anyone know how often MythTV refers back to the PCR to maintain a/v
sync?
Also what is the largest gap between an audio frame and its associated
video frame that has been seen for the freeview|HD broadcasts?
Their current statement is we shouldn't be seeing an offset of greater
than 70ms which doesn't sound right.
