Well, I couldn't resist going straight home to try this over lunch. What
a huge difference enabling the de-interlacer made. I found Bob (2x)
caused the whole display to jiggle up and down, but Greedy High Motion
gives pretty good results.

The strange thing is, when in the Gui or the desktop, I don't get any
overscan. It all displays correctly at 1360x768, the LCD native
resolution. My TV seems to be able to tell I am connecting from a PC,
even when connected over an HDMI connection. Its only when I watch live
TV or Recorded TV that I get this affect. What would be causing this? I
assumed the changing the overscan settings in the nVidia tool would have
an effect on all display.

Finally, while poking around in the player profile setup screens for the
first time, I noticed the Max CPU entry. Since I have a quad core
processor, I changed this from 1 to 3. Will this cause any adverse
effects? I didn't notice anything, but I wasn't hammering my system very
hard.

Regards
Aaron
