Hey guys


I have a cmi8738 with spdif, IEC958 (running via optical). Want to
enable spdif to handle all of the sound for the pc via the hometheatre
system

Has anyone managed to get the spdif optical output running in ubuntu
8.04 or higer? what rc.local commands did you use? what was your setup
using amixer?
