Time for an upgrade I think. My SP13000 is not HD capable and it doesn't
really upscale to my 40" TV very well either - its not bad but moving
lines have a fair number of saw teeth on them!!
I was looking at the Asus M3N-H/HDMI Motherboard but that is a full sized
ATX board with tons of PCI connections - a possible for a new
server/backend but OTT for a new frontend methinks.
Any other recommendations that I can rush out to get before the end of the
month (when prices are expected to rise by 25-30%) that will have an
nvidia 8/9000 series GPU that will support VDPAU and is straightforward to
run as a diskless network boot, is of a size that a new case will not look
out of place below the TV without costing more than the m/b, and of course
has HDMI video and S/PDIF audio outputs.
