Using sudo netstat -tanp I caught
tcp 0 0 {Mythtv_FE_IP}:56679 207.171.166.140:80 ESTABLISHED 7093/python
tcp 0 0 {Mythtv_FE_IP}:45477 67.152.32.114:80 ESTABLISHED 7093/python
I probably could have confirmed the same from the numerous firewall state entries such as
{Mythtv_FE_IP}:56699 -> {My_Static_IP}:57138 -> 207.171.166.140:80 FIN_WAIT_2:FIN_WAIT_2
As one might deduce from the above there were numerous ports used for this....
Seems to support my initial suggestion as to cause.
I am not sure I/we need this download set every hour?
