I recently put one of these cases on the back of an LCD TV,
http://procase.co.nz/pc/cs5689.html, so far so good. I haven't noticed any
heat problems but we don't use the TV a lot. You could create a bit of an
air-gap by putting a couple of strips of metal/plastic before mounting the
case. I'm now on the lookout for a quieter fan, even after slowing it down
with a resister it is still a bit noisy.
