Must agree. MySQL tables don't corrupt themselves. Have you had power problems lately? You could modify the /etc/init.d/mysql.server ( or whatever it's called in your distro ) to check for and fix corrupt tables, but it's really more important to find the root cause of the corruption - be it power, bad disk, memory problems...
