[mythtvnz] HV-AAC (AAC+) Support in linux ... are we there yet?

Hi All,
Anyone know when this is likely to happen, is there anyway to compile in
support for this until an official version is out there.

I would really like be able to watch more that TV3 in HD, but not useful
without sound.
