Fine starting point. I had 120 GB of disk to begin with, which was fine
for months. Then 250 GB wasn't enough. Now I'm on a 500 GB which is 95%
full.
CPU is okay, but transcoding and so on will take a while. Expect to leave
it on permanently for convenience.
Extra ram is wasted. Mine has two PVR-150s and uses about 250 MB ram.
Would be good if the box did other things too.

PVR 150 or 500 is all you want - the other two are older, cost more, and
are not as good. A 500 is essentially two 150s and a powered splitter on
the PCI card, so its a good idea.

Do you have the TV to connect already? I use a 19" LCD which is a little
small - works perfectly for my small house.
