I have simplified it a bit, but with work and other things I haven't had much 
time :-(

I will however, now that the sound is synced to the video, concentrate on 
moving the code to C so it can be included in ffmpeg proper.

My myth patches I can raise a ticket for get them into trunk, and perhaps 0.21 
as well.
