Is there a communication and perception about North islanders contained herein?

More seriously, if one had only one channel to watch something that was important, (for one or two people, possibly Canterbury way, some how rugby comes to mind), and there were no other options, and the game became un-viewable.....

Would that be a problem that could be overstated?
